Stories of Broadway author and musical theater historian, Jennifer Ashley Tepper, will be discussing her best-selling book series, The Untold Stories of Broadway, at a free event at the New York City Public Library for the Performing Arts on Monday March 2nd at 6pm.

The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will run an additional four weeks through Sunday, May 3 with an official press opening last night, February 17 at The Public Theater. It's that time of year, and everyone is making their lists. For me, this task is always harder than it probably should be. I wrestle with myself and debate the merits of everything. I worry about who might get their feelings hurt, and whom I may accidentally overlook. So, for 2014, I promised myself to make a simple list of the 10 albums from 2014 that I simply couldn't get enough of. Naturally, that list is actually 15 items long. (Surprise!)

The David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical hit 'Here Lies Love' will be leaving the Public Theater on January 4th to spread the love across the globe in many new productions, but the celebs are still coming to join in the Disco. Last night, SPIKE LEE was spotted enjoying the show in the house and loved it so much that he joined the cast backstage after the show for a group photo. Check it out below!

The North American premiere of Olivier Award nominee Duncan Macmillan's highly acclaimed new play, Every Brilliant Thing, opened last night, December 14 at Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Featuring Jonny Donahoe and directed by George Perrin, the Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing comes to New York fresh off its smash hit, much-raved-over engagements in London and Edinburgh, as well as a UK tour.

Brooke Shields attended HERE LIES LOVE at the Pubilc Theater last night, where she went down to the dressing rooms after the show to visit the cast. Brooke related stories of when she, as a young girl of 16, was invited to open the Philippines Film Festival and spent a weekend with Imelda Marcos in Manila. The disco musical hit is running through January 4th before embarking on a world tour and the current stars are Jaygee Macapugay as Imelda, Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos and Conrad Ricamora as Ninoy Aquino.

Live From Lincoln Center, the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot two of the first week's concerts by Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Billy Porter in The Appel Room. After a sold-out engagement at The Public Theater in 2013 and the current commercial off-Broadway run at The Public Theater producers Joey Parnes and Emursive have announced that the David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's' smash hit musical, Here Lies Love, directed by Alex Timbers, will play its final performance in New York on Sunday, January 4th, 2015. The initial Public Theater production began performances on April 2, 2013 and ended its run (after four extensions) on July 28, 2013. The current production reopened at The Public Theater on April 14, 2014 with an official opening on May 1, 2014
