BWW Review: THE HUNTING OF THE SNARK, Vaudeville Theatre

A shoddy group of explorers, a threatening butcher, and many extravagant creatures are just some of the wonderful creations we find in The Hunting of the Snark. Based on Lewis Carroll's glorious poem of the same name, the audience is invited into a world of magic, wonder and bravery.

BWW Review: PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at FAC

Is there any staple of children's literature more existentially tragic than Peter Pan? Beneath the tale of the eternal boy who flies with faeries and battles with pirates lies a story about the bittersweet inevitability of growing old, and of a child destined to be forever left behind by a world that moves on without him. This underlying sadness is a key part of the fascination J.M. Barrie's work holds over the generations, and one which holds true in Rick Elice's play Peter and the Starcatcher.

STAGE TUBE: Cast of 12 Rocks Elitch Gardens

Elitch Gardens, now in its 21st year downtown since relocating from northwest Denver, remains one of Colorado's the most popular entertainment destinations. It now features a vast array of modern roller-coasters, and because many of 'The 12' cast members from the DCPA Theatre Company are thrill-ride aficionados, the staff at Elitch's invited cast members Tuesday to ride the famous Carousel, which dates back to 1927 - and two coaster rides: The Brain Drain and the Boomerang. BWW Reviews: FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE & KICKING! at the Denver Center

BWW Reviews: FLOYD AND CLEA UNDER THE WESTERN SKY at the Fine Arts Center

If you missed Once when it was at the Denver Center last month, then Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky is probably an acceptable substitute. Like the Tony-winning musical, Floyd and Clea centers around two characters who form a bond through music and end up transforming each other's lives.
