The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced the plays for the inaugural Keen Playwrights Lab: Skopje by Gabe McKinley, directed by Christian Parker; The Human Court by Jessica Dickey, directed by Davis McCallum; and Dust by Qui Nguyen, directed by Linsay Firman. This year's Keen Playwrights Lab will offer this year's readings at Art-NY's Bruce Mitchell Room, beginning April 8th.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced the Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the theatrical publishing company Samuel French, has selected the writers for the program's eighth season: Kristoffer Diaz, Halley Feiffer, and Kenny Finkle, who have been commissioned to write thirty-minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced the inaugural Keen Playwrights Lab. Under the leadership of Mark Armstrong, Keen's Director of New Work, each playwright will be developing a new full-length play inspired by Keen Company's mission - sincere story telling with heart, honesty and hope. The collaborative and supportive environment brings together three acclaimed American playwrights in mid-career to develop new work and facilitate that work's exposure to a greater audience. The program will culminate in three public readings in April, 2014. More details TBA. Keen Playwrights Lab made possible in part thanks to a Creative Space Grant with A.R.T./New York. This season's participants are Jessica Dickey, Gabe McKinley and Qui Nguyen.
