FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Katie Thompson in New Writers at 54: The Creations of Katie Thompson on Sunday, August 13 at 7:00 PM. Katie Thompson (Giant, Big Fish) brings her talented Broadway friends to Feinstein's/54 Below to debut original songs from this songwriter's many projects in the making. Carnegie Hall today announced an exciting new guest artist line-up for its spring performances with The New York Pops and Music DirectorSteven Reineke. On Friday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, the orchestra and Maestro Reineke continue their Carnegie Hall season with Life is a Cabaret: The Songs of Kander and Ebb, a celebration of composer John Kander's 90th birthday and five-decade partnership with lyricist Fred Ebb. Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck joins previously announced Caissie Levy performing songs from the duo's biggest Broadway sensations including Cabaret, Kiss of the Spiderwoman,The Scottsboro Boys, and Chicago. Previously announced guest artist Joshua Henry is unable to appear in this concert due to a scheduling conflict.

Club 11 London and The Hippodrome are pleased to announce american composer Jonathan Reid Gealt is returning to London on 16th February 2017at his first concert at the London Hippodrome Casino. He will be joined* by Natalie Weiss, Craig Colton, Rebecca Trehearn and Andy Coxon along side the Club 11 London band, lead by Marc McBride. Other guests are to be announced.

Following the solemn news of SOMETHING ROTTEN's closing last night, the Broadway musical's current cod-piece clad Shakespeare -- Will Chase -- took to Twitter today to announce his own departure date. No word yet on his replacement.

What is the biggest challenge in playing Monty 8 times a week? Staying hydrated!  I have to make sure I drink enough water during the day. I hardly have a chance to drink any water during the course of the show, because I am onstage 99% of the time!

Just last month, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt, who celebrated the release of his new cd, 'Whatever I Want It To Be,' with a concert at the historic music room starring a bevy of Broadway stars. The cast included vocalists Jane Monheit, Loren Allred, Whitney Bashor, and Addi McDaniel and Michael Deleget. Check out highlights from the concert below.
