Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced O Guru Guru Guru, or why I don't want to go to yoga class with you by Mallery Avidon, directed by former Actors Theatre directing intern Lila Neugebauer. The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning on March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th. The production is part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation.

Unbound Productions Co-Artistic Directors Jonathan Josephson, Paul Millet, and Jeff G. Rack have announced two waves of expansion to their popular horror story adaptation series WICKED LIT. On Thursday, October 20, The American School of Yaoundé in Cameroon, presented Josephson's adaptation of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. In addition, WICKED LIT's free staged reading series will expand from Los Angeles- based events and schools to two locations in San Diego: Lestat's (October 23 and 27 at 6:30pm) and The Egyptian Tea Room (October 26 at 8:00pm).

Pasadena Playhouse will host Stamp Collectors Day: A Celebration of the Stamp in honor of their 2009 season theme: Women: The Heart and Soul of Theatre, on Saturday, April 11 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Pasadena Playhouse commemorative pictorial postmark (designed by graphic artist Eric Pargac) will be available to the public at the theatre, a designated temporary United States Postal Service philatelic station. The Playhouse is located at 39 S. El Molino Avenue.
