WICKED LIT 2013 Sells Out to the 'Wall' Two Weeks Prior to Closing

Unbound Productions Co-Artistic Directors Jonathan Josephson, Paul Millet, and Jeff G. Rack are thrilled to share that the 5th Anniversary Production of the popular horror story adaptation series Wicked Lit at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California has sold out to the proverbial wall. There are zero tickets still available for the general public for Wicked Lit 2013 which closes on November 2; all remaining seats have been reserved for Members and other donors that support the non-profit theatre company.

THE LURKING FEAR and More Set for Unbound Productions' WICKED LIT 2013, Now thru 11/2

Unbound Productions Co-Artistic Directors Jonathan Josephson, Paul Millet, and Jeff G. Rack have announced the line-up for the 5th Anniversary Production of the popular horror story adaptation series WICKED LIT that will take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California. The production will run from today, October 4-November 2, 2013 and feature world premiere adaptations of H.P Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The New Catacomb as well as a revival of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Wicked Lit will present H.P. Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear, adapted by Jeff G. Rack and Jonathan Josephson, and directed by Paul Millet from October 4 - November 2. Friday-Sunday, Oct 4-6; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 10-13; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 17-20; Thursday-Sunday, Oct 24-27; Wednesday-Saturday, Oct 30-Nov 2. World Premiere Theatre Installation of Poe's THE TELL TALE HEART Comes to ScareLA Today

Rack have announced a special WICKED LIT installation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart which will be staged exclusively at LA Mart in conjunction with ScareLA,during the first annual Los Angeles Halloween Convention (beginning today August 10, and running through tomorrow, August 11). The limited-seating eight-performance run will be staged throughout one of the vacant floors of the 14-story warehouse style building, and feature the full array of theatrical effects and creative artistry that fans of WICKED LIT have come to expect.

Actors Theatre of Louisville to Present O GURU GURU GURU as Part of 2013 Humana Festival, 3/20-4/7

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced O Guru Guru Guru, or why I don't want to go to yoga class with you by Mallery Avidon, directed by former Actors Theatre directing intern Lila Neugebauer. The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning on March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th. The production is part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation.

Actors Theatre of Louisville Opens GNIT, 3/17

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced the world premiere of Gnit by Will Eno, directed by Artistic Director Les Waters. The play will run in the Pamela Brown Auditorium and will begin previews on March 15, open March 17 and run through April 7. The 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation, opens with the world premiere of Sam Mark's The Delling Shore, directed by Actors Theatre's associate artistic director Meredith McDonough. The Delling Shore is playing in the Bingham Theatre and begins previews tonight, February 27, opens March 1 and runs through April 7.

The production will now run from October 12 to November 10, 2012 - an addition of 7 performances for audiences to attend.

HISTORY LIT 2012 Set for Pasadena Museum of History, Now thru 5/20

The creators of Wicked Lit present History Lit 2012, an immersive theatre event featuring three short plays based on the work of great women authors of the 19th and 20th Centuries. HISTORY LIT 2012 will take place today, May 11th through May 20th at the Pasadena Museum of History. Audience members can follow actors throughout the Fenyes Estate and enjoy new adaptations of short stories that reflect history in creative ways.
