AMC announced today a two-night television event for the premiere of its next new drama series 'Better Call Saul.' The prequel to the award-winning series 'Breaking Bad,' 'Saul' will debut on Sunday, February 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with its second episode airing the next day, Monday, February 9 at 10:00 p.m. The series will then continue to air Mondays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. From 'Breaking Bad' creator Vince Gilligan and 'Breaking Bad' writer Peter Gould, 'Better Call Saul' focuses on the evolution of the popular 'Breaking Bad' character Saul Goodman, portrayed by Bob Odenkirk, before he ever became Walter White's lawyer. The series is executive produced by Gilligan, Gould, Mark Johnson ('Breaking Bad,' Diner, Rain Man) and Melissa Bernstein ('Breaking Bad,' 'Rectify,' 'Halt and Catch Fire') with 'Breaking Bad' alums Thomas Schnauz and Stewart A. Lyons as co-executive producers for Sony Pictures Television.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC has renewed Better Call Saul for a second season. This season will feature 13 episodes. The series premiere has also been adjusted. It was originally slated to premiere Novemeber 2014, but it has now been pushed back to early 2015. The second season will air early 2016.

According to Deadline, Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn and Michael Mando have signed on to join Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, and Michael McKean in AMC's highly anticipated sequel to BREAKING BAD, to be titled BETTER CALL SAUL. They'll play one of the series all-new characters.

The mockumentary AUTHORS ANONYMOUS, in theaters today, April 18, is also on Demand & iTunes via Screen Media Films and STARZ Digital Media. It stars Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Chris Klein, Teri Polo, Dennis Farina (in one of his last roles), Dylan Walsh, Jonathan Bennett, Tricia Helfer and Jonathan Banks.
