Six crucial roles in Spike TV's upcoming event series have been cast, it was announced today by Sharon Levy, Executive Vice President, Original Series, Spike TV.

Casting is announced for Our Town at the Almeida Theatre. Award-winning US actor-director David Cromer will direct and perform in this intimate version of Thornton Wilder's iconic American play. The cast will also include Michael Ajao, Paul Bigley, Arthur Byrne, Sidney Cole, Kate Dickie, Laura Elsworthy, Anna Francolini, Matthew Jacobs-Morgan, Daniel Kendrick, Simon Lennon, Jessica Lester, Richard Lumsden, Annette McLaughlin, Christopher Staines, Rhashan Stoneand David Walmsley.

Michael Cera, star of THIS IS OUR YOUTH on Broadway this fall, released an indie folk album last week on August 8 without much fanfare, but the project, titled 'true that', is getting quite a bit of attention despite the actor's under-the-radar sensibilities.

Casting is announced for the world premiere of Alecky Blythe's new play inspired by the 2011 London riots, directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins. This is Alecky's first new London production after the success of London Road at the National Theatre.

The next wave of nominees has been announced for TEEN CHOICE 2014, airing live Sunday, Aug. 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. '22 Jump Street' leads the second wave of nominees with seven nominations and Iggy Azalea received five.
