Comedy Works has announced its upcoming headliners: Tammy Pescatelli and Jim Breuer. Details below!

The Tony Awards telecast took home four Emmys including Outstanding Special Class Program, Outstanding Musical Direction and Outstanding Musics and Lyrics for 'If I Had Time' with lyrics by Adam Schlesinger and music by David Javerbaum.

This fall, COMEDY CENTRAL is looking for the best new stand-up talent in the country including the Bay Area by holding 'Up Next' A CC: Certified Talent Search through the network's Certified Clubs program. 'Up Next' A CC: Certified Talent Search will consist of comedians performing in preliminary local showcases hosted by Cobb's Comedy Club and 25 other participating Certified Clubs from September 3-23. The preliminary showcase for Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco will take place tonight, September 15, 7:30pm.

Discovery Channel's 26th annual Shark Week in August was the network's most watched Shark Week ever. The success of Shark Week coupled with solid performances by hit series Amish Mafia, which averaged 2.46 million viewers, and Gold Rush - South America, which averaged 2.43 million viewers, and strong beginnings for freshman series Tickle and Porter Ridge, made August 2013 the most watched August in Discovery Channel history. August 2013 was also Discovery's best month of 2013 among Women 18-49 and Women 18-34 delivery.

Deadline Aasif Mandvi has signed on for a recurring guest spot on the new FOX series US AND THEM. The 'Daily Show' correspondant will join previously announced cast members Jason Ritter and Alexis Bieldel on the romantic comedy.

Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, has set the date for the Pay-Per-View (PPV) and Video On Demand (VOD) Mega Comedy Event LEWIS BLACK: OLD YELLER - LIVE AT THE BORGATA. This will be the first ever live comedy special to air simultaneously on all cable, satellite and telco platforms including Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, DirecTV, Dish, Cablevision, Charter Communications, AT&T U-Verse, Verizon FiOS and many others.
