NBC has announced it will debut Dick Wolf's 'Chicago P.D.' (the spin-off of 'Chicago Fire') at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, as well as the season premiere of 'Community' with back-to-back episodes from8-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2.

NBC has announced a new lineup of primetime shows for the 2013-14 season that provide a winning combination of popular returning series, fresh new comedies, compelling new dramas and the latest season of "The Voice," the top reality program on television.

NBC has announced that it has picked up a spin-off to its hit freshman drama CHICAGO FIRE. The series, titled CHICAGO PD is from Dick Wolf and follows District 21 of the Chicago Police Department.

On CHICAGO FIRE's upcoming episode, titled 'Let Her Go,' events force Lieutenant Casey (Jesse Spencer) to team up with the Intelligence Unit, now run by Voight (guest star Jason Beghe), who doesn't appear to have changed his crooked ways after his stint in prison. Shay's (Lauren German) excitement at the prospect of becoming a parent grows, while Mills (Charlie Barnett) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) face some personal challenges. Meanwhile, the house comes together to support the opening of Molly's. Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg and Eamonn Walker also star.

Casey (Jesse Spencer) and his mother, Nancy (Kathleen Quinlan) struggle with their new relationship.

Deadline.com has announced that Virginia Madsen, David Julian Hirsh, Jon Seda and Billy Zane are set for recurring roles on upcoming TV shows this fall. Madsen will join the cast of AMC's western drama, Hell On Wheels in a three-episode story arc. The actress will portray Mrs. Hannah Durant, the wife of Thomas "Doc" Durant played by Colm Meaney.

The debut dates for the new seasons of the HBO series BOADWALK EMPIRE and TREME have been confirmed.
