Praed Joins Fisher In New THE SOUND OF MUSIC UK Tour

Michael Praed will star as 'Captain Von Trapp' alongside Connie Fisher as 'Maria' in the National UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber, David Ian and The Really Useful Group's smash hit production of the legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' opening at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff on 26 July 2009, where it will play until 29 August 2009 (Box Office: 08700 40 2000). LOST star Daniel Dae Kim will departs the island of Hawaii for the spotlight of the London stage this coming summer to star in a new production of musical The King and I. The Korean-born Kim was a guest on 'The View' this morning and spoke about his taking on the iconic role of the 'King of Siam' for the UK mounting. He explained that it would be produced in the UK, 'It's actually going to be in London at the Royal Albert Hall. We start rehearsals start in May'.
