THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, the Olivier Award-winning box office hit, celebrates its first, triumphant year in the West End, and as a new booking period opens with tickets going on sale until 11 September 2016, the show's phenomenal popularity with audiences looks set to continue.

The producers of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG have announced that something has gone spectacularly right. With their advertising campaign encouraging people to 'SAVE MONEY - DON'T COME' which apparently has not worked, the show that they capitalised in the West End for £250,000 and opened at the Duchess Theatre at the beginning of September, written by and starring unknown out of work actors, has already recouped all of its production costs and is now turning a weekly profit.

Following the Pythons' incredible 10 night sell-out run at London's O2 Arena, it is announced today that Monty Python's Spamalot will gallop back out on tour from January next year, to bring the West End production to theatres across the land (to the sound of banging coconut shells). Joe Pasquale will reprise his much loved role of King Arthur alongside Bonnie Langford as The Lady of The Lake and Todd Carty as Patsy, (making up the Spamalot Dream Team)**.

The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG) today announces that it has completed a deal to acquire 100% ownership of the Savoy and Playhouse theatres in London's West End from its current partners.

Monty Python legend Michael Palin has decided to 'fart in the general direction' of fellow Python legend, Eric Idle, when he appears as God on screen in Monty Python's Spamalot, this summer at The Playhouse Theatre to raise money for charity. At the same time, the show has now announced that it is extending its current run until 8th February 2014.

Comedian and actor Les Dennis will be reunited with his Life's Too Short co-star, film and TV actor Warwick Davis, when they star together as King Arthur and Patsy in Monty Python's Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre, in Warwick Davis' towering West End debut (he was the tallest actor we could find at short notice). The critically acclaimed Cirque du Soleil show KOOZA opened last night, Tuesday 8 January, for a limited engagement at Royal Albert Hall. Tickets are currently on sale until 14 February 2013. Since its premiere in April of 2007, KOOZA has captivated close to four million spectators in North America and Japan. London is the first destination on the 2013 KOOZA European tour. According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.
