Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the Playhouse's fourth annual holiday benefit show to raise funds for the non-profit theater company's 2015 summer season.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis presents Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash created by Richard Maltby, Jr., conceived by William Meade, adapted from the Broadway Production by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Jason Edwards and directed by Jason Edwards. This energetic musical will be performed on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University), Webster Groves, December 3-December 28, 2014.

But after experiencing the thoroughly enchanting October 8 performance from Amanda McBroom and her husband George Ball at 54 Below (there was a second performance on October 14), it's difficult to imagine a cabaret couple more compelling.
