Cent. Stage Co to Offer Stage Combat Workshop

As part of the New Jersey Theater Alliances Stages Festival, Centenary Stage Company will be offering a free workshop in the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue Hackettstown, NJ.  On Saturday, March 31 Centenary Stage Company will offer a 'Stage Combat' workshop, beginning at 10 am. This workshops was rescheduled due to inclement weather from its original March 3 date.

Centenary Stage Co. Presents Alliances Stages Festival Theatre Workshops

As part of the New Jersey Theater Alliances Stages Festival, Centenary Stage Company will be offering two free workshop events in the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue Hackettstown, NJ.  On Saturday, March 3 Centenary Stage Company will offer a 'Stage Combat' workshop and on Saturday, March 10 CSC will offer a 'Musical Theatre' workshop.  Both workshops begin at 10 am.

Philip Ridley's Modern Classic VINCENT RIVER To Receive Regional Premiere At Hope Mill Theatre

The thrilling and heartbreaking play Vincent River, by award-winning playwright and author Philip Ridley, has been relocated to Manchester - the city where it is to receive its regional premiere next month. Yet Another Carnival and Hope Mill Theatre present Vincent River by Philip Ridley and directed by John Young from Tuesday 27 February to Saturday 24 March 2018 at Hope Mill Theatre.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre Debuts WHAT STAYS

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional theatre in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, is producing the World Premiere of What Stays by Laura Ekstrand and Jason Szamreta. This heartwarming comedy, written by two members of Dreamcatcher's ensemble, was inspired by stories from the company's own lives and woven to reflect the common experience of a family going through a major life change. What Stays runs February 8 - 25, 2018.

Hawaii Symphony Presents World Premiere Of Anders Paulsson KUMULIPO REFLECTIONS, 4/1-2

Artistic Advisor JoAnn Falletta returns in April to lead the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra (HSO) in "Ocean Dreams," a concert showcasing the world premiere of Kumulipo Reflections, a symphonic tone poem celebrating the power of the ocean by Anders Paulsson and featuring vocalist Aaron D. Sirena Huang (age 22 from the United States) has been named the First Prize Winner of the inaugural Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition. As first prize winner, Sirena Huang, receives a cash prize of $30,000 as well as a new violin, crafted by celebrated violin makers Feng Jiang, Jeffrey Phillips, Andrew Ryan and John Young; a Silver-mounted bow from Eric Lane; a coveted Musafia Case donated by Reuning and Son Violins, Inc.; a signed copy of "The American Violin" provided by Tucker Densley, Christopher Germain, Philip J. Kass, Darcy Kuronen, John Montgomery and P. Dameron Midgett, IV; and a $250 gift certificate given by International Violin Company.
