The 50th season of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, which will run from October 14, 2015 through June 4, 2016, was announced today by Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director.

Internationally celebrated violinist Itzhak Perlman will return to Houston to conduct and perform classical masterworks with the Houston Symphony on February 12-15, 2015, at 8:00 p.m.

Tonight, January 31, the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra hosts the returns of Cirque de la Symphonie: the magic of the circus combined with a live orchestra for a totally unique performance experience. With a family-friendly curtain time of 7:00 p.m., Cirque de la Symphonie is a spectacular evening the generations can enjoy together. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) today announced its programs for the 2015–16 concert season, Jacques Lacombe's sixth and final season as the Orchestra's music director. The North Carolina Symphony will pay tribute to two of the most beloved performers of the 20th century with Louis and Ella: All That Jazz, which will feature the music of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald performed by trumpeter and vocalist Byron Stripling and vocalist Marva Hicks, with drummer Robert Breithaupt. The Symphony concerts, which will be led by Associate Conductor David Glover, will take place in Meymandi Concert Hall in downtown Raleigh, tonight, Jan. 16, and Saturday, Jan. 17, at 8 p.m. each night.
