The York Symphony Orchestra's 2016-17 season, A Musical Journey Through Time, goes on sale Aug. 1. 

The Cleveland Orchestra has announced the program for the free community concert for the At Home in Hough neighborhood residency on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at East Professional Center (formerly East High School).

To open its 24th season, The Orion Ensemble, winner of the prestigious Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, presents 'Collage of Colors,' welcoming guest violist Stephen Boe.

The New York Philharmonic has announced updates to its 175th anniversary season in 2016-17.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts announced today that a live symphony will perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on November 11 - 13, 2016 as part of The Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The film concert will feature the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high- definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams' unforgettable score.

The Washington Pavilion is excited to welcome the Boston Pops, the most recorded and arguably the most beloved orchestra in the country, to the Mary W. Sommervold Hall at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017.  Affectionately known as "America's Orchestra", the Boston Pops has chosen Sioux Falls as one if its destinations during its limited Midwest tour. Ticket on-sale dates and pricing will be announced sometime in the near future.

Buffalo, NY -- KeyBank is the latest corporation to increase their support of Buffalo's internationally acclaimed orchestra. The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra's Pops Series will now be known as the KeyBank Pops Series. Key Private Bank previously sponsored the 2015-16 season of the BPO Rocks series. The announcement was made at the Bisons' Independence Eve event, also sponsored by KeyBank, which featured a post-game performance by the BPO.

Multi-talented superstars Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas will perform on the BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, a two-hour entertainment special to be broadcast live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, tonight, July 4 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Houston Symphony celebrates the 35th anniversary of the award-winning hit film Raiders of the Lost Ark with the screening of the film and live, simultaneous performance of John Williams' legendary score. Raiders of the Lost Ark - Film with Live Orchestra will be led by Principal POPS Conductor Designate Steven Reineke as a part of the Bank of America Summer Series at Jones Hall at 7:30 p.m. July 1-2.

The BFG soundtrack from Walt Disney Records will be available at physical and digital retailers, plus streaming services on July 1, 2016. 'The BFG' opens in U.S. theaters on July 1, 2016, the year that marks the 100th anniversary of Dahl's birth.
