Hershey Symphony Orchestra Offering Season Subscription Savings

Join the Hershey Symphony Orchestra for a season filled with music for everyone. From favorite Disney tunes, to songs from the Wild West, holiday classics, romantic classics and a salute to America with the best of Gershwin - the Orchestra will take patrons on a musical journey over the next year. Season subscribers can purchase all six concerts for around $15 per concert. 

Canadian Brass to Join Principal Brass Quintet for Holiday Brass Concert, 12/13

The Canadian Brass will join the New York Philharmonic Principal Brass Quintet for the 20th season of its annual Holiday Brass concert, Sunday, December 13, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. The performance will feature seasonal favorites from the Baroque to contemporary; the program will be announced at a later date.

Michelle Miller Joins Boston College's Theatre Department

Accomplished actor, singer, arts educator, filmmaker and activist Michelle Miller, a 1998 graduate of Boston College, joins the University's Theatre Department this academic year as the Rev. J. Donald Monan, S.J. Professor in Theatre Arts.

National Brass Ensemble to Perform Chicago Debut Concert at Symphony Center, 9/20

CHICAGO—Symphony Center Presents is pleased to announce the Chicago debut of the National Brass Ensemble (NBE) in a special concert at Symphony Center on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. The NBE is composed of 24 of the finest brass players in the United States. For this concert, the NBE is joined by a timpanist, three percussionists and two harpists. All of the musicians hail from major U.S. orchestras in Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Detroit. The program of works by Gabrieli, Verdi and John Williams is inspired by the NBE's soon-to-be released CD, Gabrieli, recorded by the NBE in 2014 in conjunction with the group's debut concert at the Green Music Center in Sonoma, CA.

Cleveland Orchestra Sets 2015-16 Family Concerts
