The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed gay comedy/variety show - will open its fourth season tonight, September 20, 2012 at The Duplex in New York's West Village. Each edition of The Meeting* honors a different gay icon; the September show will pay tribute to Disco chart-topper Sylvester with special guests Bridget Everett, Ben Rimalower and Xavier. Musical Director is Brandon James Gwinn.
By popular demand, an additional week of performances has been added to the previously announced run of cult sensation DINA MARTINA in DINA MARTINA: AMPLE WATTAGE at The Laurie Beechman Theater. Performances, which begin tonight, Sept. 20, have now been extended thru Sept. 30th.

Sandra Chipchase, CEO, Destination NSW today introduced to the media the seven actors who will play the lovable and bizarre characters who make up the deliriously delightful Addams Family. The members of the Addams Family are John Waters as Gomez Addams, Chloe Dallimore as Morticia Addams, Russell Dykstra as Fester Addams, Teagan Wouters as Wednesday Addams, Ben Hudson as Lurch, Meredith O'Reilly as Grandma Addams and Liam Faulkner-Dimond as Pugsley Addams. The production will open at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney in March 2013.

Hairspray is a musical with music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Shaiman and a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, based on the 1988 John Waters film Hairspray. In 1962 Baltimore, Maryland, plump teenager Tracy Turnblad's dream is to dance on The Corny Collins Show, a local TV dance program. When Tracy wins a role on the show, she becomes a celebrity overnight. She then launches a campaign to integrate the show. Hairspray is a social commentary on the injustices of parts of American society in the 1960s.
