Webster's Conservatory Of Theatre Arts Presents CABARET 4/29 - 5/3

Webster University?s Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents the Tony award-winning musical ?Cabaret,? with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and based on the play by John van Druten and the original stories of Christopher Isherwood. The production runs from April 29 to May 3 in the Browning Theatre of Webster?s Loretto-Hilton Center, 130 Edgar Road. Curtain time is 8 p.m., except Sunday, which will have a 2 p.m. matinee only. Ray Ficca Takes Over As Totem Pole's Artistic Director

After 23 years of guiding Totem Pole Playhouse into national prominence as a premiere professional summer theatre, Carl Schurr and Wil Love are stepping down at the end of the 2008 season. As Producing Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director, respectively, this theatrical duo has produced, directed and acted in well over one hundred productions since assuming their current positions in 1985. Ray Ficca, long time friend of Schurr and Love and a resident company member at the Playhouse will become the artistic director in September of this year.

Kate Warner Announced As Artistic Director For New Rep

New Repertory Theatre announced today that Kate Warner, nationally known, award-winning director from Atlanta-based Dad's Garage Theatre Company, will be the company's new Artistic Director. 'Kate Warner is a natural leader,' said Michael McCay, Chairman of the Board of New Repertory Theatre. 'She has been very successful as an Artistic Director and is known for her programming savvy. Kate also has the vision and experience to drive the continuing growth of our theatre. Under her stewardship, Dad's Garage experienced impressive growth while remaining financially stable.'

Zuber, Redgrave, Wilson Set for Downstage Center

The American Theatre Wing and XM Satellite Radio have announced upcoming shows to air on XM's On Broadway Channel 28 and on ATW Website as part of the 'Downstage Center' series.
