On the heals of its hit production of Pocatello, Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to continue its 2015-16 season with the Midwest premiere of John Van Druten's romantic drama LONDON WALL, directed by ensemble member Robin Witt, who helmed Griffin's 2014 Jeff Award-winning drama Men Should Weep. LONDON WALL will play January 9 - February 14, 2016 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago.

            Gillian Holroyd is a sensual, free spirited gal, restless in life and unlucky in love. She also happens to be a witch. When she learns that her handsome neighbor, Shep Henderson, is engaged to her old college rival, she uses every trick in the book to stop the wedding. But when, in the midst of her magical maneuvering, she finds herself falling for him, she's left with a difficult choice: fall in love or lose her powers. But perhaps love still has a trick or two up its own sleeve in this delectable and delightful romantic romp. Bell, Book & Candle was the inspiration for the classic film of the same name starring James Stewart, Kim Novak, and Jack Lemmon.           

Transport Group has announced that casting has been completed for its upcoming revival of Once Upon a Mattress, which stars Jackie Hoffman (On the Town, Difficult People, Hairspray) as Princess Winnifred and John "Lypsinka"Epperson (Lypsinka's The Boxed Set, The Passion of the Crawford) as Queen Aggravain.  The production, which is directed by five-time Drama Desk Award nominee Jack Cummings III, features Jessica Fontana (Cinderella) as Lady Larken, David Greenspan (The Patsy) as The King, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music) as The Minstrel, Cory Lingner(On the Town) as The Jester, Zak Resnick (Piece of My Heart) as Sir Harry, Jay Rogers (Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly) as The Wizard, and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Things to Ruin) as Prince Dauntless, with Vivienne Cleary, Richard Costa, Michael De Souza, Tim Dolan, Jack Donahue, Amy Griffin, Sarah Killough, Kristen Michelle, Ali Reed,and Doug Shapiro.

La stagione 2015/2016 vede la Compagnia della Rancia impegnata con un nuovo allestimento di CABARET, spettacolo molto caro a Marconi e atteso, che mancava dalla circuitazione nei teatri da oltre vent'anni (l'edizione 2006/2007 aveva toccato infatti solo Milano e Roma) e che ha debuttato, con oltre 10 minuti di applausi e unanime consenso di pubblico e critica, come spettacolo inaugurale della 29ma edizione del Todi Festival.

Hunter's heartbreaking comedy POCATELLO, directed by ensemble member Jonathan Berry (Punk Rock, Balm in Gilead). Next winter, Griffin presents the Midwest premiere of British playwright John Van Druten's romantic drama LONDON WALL, directed by recent Jeff Award-winner and ensemble member Robin Witt (Men Should Weep, Flare Path). The season concludes next summer with the Chicago debut of the off-Broadway hit BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL with book by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming, music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, direction by Scott Weinstein, who helmed Griffin's hit musical Titanic, and music direction by Ethan Deppe.

Transport Group's current production, Three Days to See, an intimate portrait of Helen Keller, will offer a number of events surrounding the disabled community. Included is an audio described performance on July 29 for the visually impaired, an open captioned performance for the hearing impaired on August 5, and talkbacks with author Dr. Beth A. Haller (July 31) and Maricar Marquez of the Helen Keller National Center (August 4).
