Auditions will be in the rehearsal hall above Civic's Nineteenth Street Theatre at 527 N 19th Street in Allentown. If necessary, callbacks will be held on Tuesday, February 29, 2011. Alternate audition times will not be available.

The New York Times reports today that following his stint in DRIVING MISS DAISY, James Earl Jones will be hanging around Broadway a bit longer, assuming the role of Arthur Hockstader in the revival of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man.' The production is scheduled to open in the spring of 2012. Orphan's Home Cycle director Michael Wilson will helm the revival. The plot centers around chief executive Hockstader trying to decide which presidental nominees to support: William Russell and Joe Cantwell.

Theoni V. Aldredge, the costume designer of the original stage version of 'La Cage aux Folles' and 'Annie' on Broadway, died Friday morning in Connecticut, according to the New York Times. She was 88.
Jill Haworth, who lit up the Broadway stage as the original Sally Bowles in CABARET, has passed away. The English actress, 65, died Monday in Manhattan of natural causes.
