New Repertory Theatre to Present THE LITTLE PRINCESS, 11/22-12/21

New Repertory Theatre announces THE LITTLE PRINCE by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, adapted from the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupe?ry, November 22-December 21, 2014 in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. Tickets are $30-$60 and may be purchased by calling the New Rep Box Office at 617-923-8487 or visiting newrep.org. Student, senior, and group discounts are available. Lookingglass Theatre Company announces a second extension of The Little Prince, produced in association with The Actors Gymnasium, by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin. The show now runs through Sunday, March 16, 2014 due to overwhelming demand. The three-week extension goes on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 14. The Little Prince runs at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces its 2013-2014 Season, opening with the World Premiere adaptation of Marguerite Duras' The North China Lover, written & directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. The season continues with The Little Prince directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin, adapted from Antoine de Saint-Exupery's beloved children's book by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar. Jessica Thebus will direct the World Premiere of Artistic Associate Sara Gmitter's In The Garden: A Darwinian Love Story to close out the Season.

Broadway Beat and BWW's Bradshaw Smith Dies at 57

Producer Bradshaw Smith passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 after suffering a sudden stroke. Born on April 14, 1954 in Derby Connecticut, he arrived in New York in the mid-70's and immediately immersed himself in the world of cabaret. He was acclaimed for his groundbreaking cabaret performances, none more popular than his long running Cole Porter Revue at Don't Tell Mama. His cabaret awards include a Backstage Bistro in 1985. In 1987 he received the first MAC Award for Best Male Vocalist.
