The Drama League continues the Fall 2014 Programming Schedule with the ever popular 'Up Close' Series featuring Academy Award winner and Broadway director of Side Show Bill Condon who will be joined by WABC TV's Sandy Kenyon, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11, 2014 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas).

According to an Equity casting notice, a new, still-untitled musical by Tony nominees Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will soon get a NYC developmental lab. The project, described as 'a new musical about connections, lost and found,' features a book by Steven Levenson, and will be directed by Michael Greif. The lab will take place March 9-26, 2015.

The Drama League presents DirectorFest 2014: The 31st Annual One-Act Festival, an evening of four short plays staged by the Drama League Directors Project Fall Directing Fellows Elena Heyman, Michael Leibenluft, Michael Osinski, and Caitlin Sullivan for a limited 5-performance engagement, December 13 - 16, 2013 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues).

KING KONG, which ran in Australia last year has long been rumored for a trip overseas to Broadway. As previously reported, following a successful run in Melbourne, the producers of KING KONG were planning to bring the mega-musical to Broadway in December 2014. Due to the 'huge scale of the production' and to allow the creative team necessary time to implement changes, the producers decided 'to not rush in before the end of the year.' Now according to the New York Times, the show is eyeing John Rando to direct the Broadway version. Additionally, Marsha Norman was recently brought on board as the musical's new book writer. A development timeline has not yet been announced.

Goodspeed Musicals, in association with Jeffrey Finn Productions, will present a star-studded workshop of the The Honeymooners, a new musical based on the legendary CBS television series. Invite-only presentations will be held today, Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7 at New 42nd Street Studios.

This holiday season, for the first time in St. Louis, one of America's favorite Christmas movies comes to life live- on-stage in a hilarious, large scale Broadway musical, at the Fabulous Fox Theatre December 16 - January 4.

The new Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN will be recorded today, November 3, for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. ON THE TOWN, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).

Before Alysha Umphress and Jay Armstrong Johnson took on the iconic roles of Hildy and Chip, Lea DeLaria and Jesse Tyler Ferguson played them in the 1998 Broadway revival. Today we are turning our attention to the rapturously received Broadway revival of Golden Age classic ON THE TOWN.

Big League Productions is thrilled to announce casting for the 2014 - 2015 national tour of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The beloved holiday movie will be brought to life on Broadway stages across the country. This sparkling new production will launch with one performance in Owensboro, KY followed by engagements in Appleton, Memphis, Dallas, and culminating over the Christmas holidays with a three week run at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis.

ON THE TOWN has moments of classic dance, comedy and music, but it's the earthy country sailors who make this musical soar.
