COST OF LIVING Finds Quartet of Stars at Manhattan Theatre Club

L ynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced full casting for Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Cost of Living, the new play by Martyna Majok (Ironbound, Mouse in a Jar), directed by Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home from the Wars; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark).

Tickets On Sale Today for BUILDING THE WALL at New World Stages

BUILDING THE WALL, the new play by Pulitzer and Tony winner Robert Schenkkan (All The Way, Hacksaw Ridge - Academy Award nom. The Kentucky Cycle), will make its New York premiere beginning performances on Friday, May 12th at 8:00 pm and opening on Sunday, May 21st at 7:30 pm at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) for a strictly limited engagement through July 9, 2017.

Latino Theater Company's RULES OF SECONDS Launches Temblors Playwriting Collective at the LATC

Blood! Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney directs the world premiere of an edgy, intense and darkly comic new play by John Pollono (Small Engine Repair, Lost Girls) in a Latino Theater Company production presented in association with The Temblors, a unique new collective of seven Los Angeles-based playwrights. Rules of Seconds opens March 23 at The Los Angeles Theater Center, with low-priced previews beginning March 16.

Theatre Exile Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Season with GUARDS AT THE TAJ by Rajiv Joseph

Following 13 Barrymore nominations and a sold-out run for Tommy and Me, Theatre Exile continues their 20th Anniversary Season with the Philadelphia premiere of Guards at the Taj by playwright Rajiv Joseph. Based on dark myths surrounding the building of the Taj Mahal, this bold and surprising comedy is the story of two hapless guards that ultimately learn the ugly truth about one of the most beautiful wonders of the world. Zainab Jah, Alysha Deslorieux and More Cast in MCC Theater's 2016 PlayLabs Series

MCC Theater - which this fall celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season as one of New York's leading Off-Broadway theater companies - has announced the 2016 PlayLabs reading series, which will feature new works in development by playwrights Jocelyn Bioh, MCC Youth Company alum Xavier Galva, Ted Malawer, and Eric Micha Holmes.

Ed Asner to Lead Staged Reading of Walter Bagot's ELEVATOR MUSIC at Skylight Theatre, 5/9

Ed Asner, winner of seven EMMY Awards with 20 nominations and five Golden Globes, will star in the staged reading of Walter Bagot's third play, Elevator Music, at the Skylight Theatre. An entertainment icon, Broadway performer, and Television Academy "Hall of Famer," Asner will be sharing the stage with theatre veteran Rob Nagle (recently Rogue Machine's Pocatello, Antaeus, Troubadour, Denver Center, and Arena Stage).

MCC Theater Will Break Ground on New Performance Space Later This Month

MCC Theater announced today that it will break ground on its first permanent home on March 22, 2016. Set to open in 2018, the space will unite MCC's diverse roster of programs under one roof for the first time in the company's three-decade history. The new facility will also allow MCC to expand its programming and establish it as a cultural anchor within the Clinton neighborhood.
