Fall is quickly approaching, which means that Broadway will soon be blowing up with brand new productions. Ten plays will be eligible for Tony nominations next year, including: Romeo and Juliet, The Glass Menagerie, The Winslow Boy, A Time to Kill, Betrayal, The Snow Geese, Twelfth Night/Richard III, Macbeth, Waiting for Godot/No Man's Land, and 700 Sundays.

BROADWAY BOUND to Open La Mirada's 2013-14 Season, 9/20-10/13

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment will present the first production in its 2013-1014 season of shows, the Tony Award-winning play, BROADWAY BOUND, written by Neil Simon and directed by Jeff Maynard. BROADWAY BOUND will preview on Friday, September 20, 2013 (with a press opening on Saturday, September 21) and run through Sunday, October 13, 2013 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Complete casting has been announced for the critically heralded all-male Shakespeare's Globe repertory productions of William Shakespeare'sTWELFTH NIGHT and RICHARD III on Broadway this fall. The productions, which delighted audiences and broke all box office records in London's West End earlier this year, will open Sunday, November 10 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street), with previews beginning October 15. Twelfth Night and Richard III, which are directed by Tim Carroll, designed by Jenny Tiramani and with music by Claire van Kampen, will play a limited engagement for 16 weeks. The Flea's SARAH FLOOD IN SALEM MASS to Begin Performances 9/24

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of SARAH FLOOD IN SALEM MASS by Obie Award winner Adriano Shaplin (Pig Iron's Hell Meets Henry Halfway). This radical re-telling of the events leading up to the Salem Witch Trials will be directed by Rebecca Wright featuring members of The Bats. Previews begin September 24 with opening slated for October 6. The Flea's Producing Director Carol Ostrow says, 'bringing Shaplin's work and his team of collaborators together with The Bats will be one of the most combustible theatrical events of the season.'

Pearl Jam Announces Fall 2013 North American Tour; Kicks Off 10/11 in Pittsburgh

Pearl Jam announced today that they will embark on a two-leg, twenty-four date North American tour this fall. Leg one kicks-off in Pittsburgh on October 11 and wraps in New Orleans with the band's previously announced headlining performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience during the weekend of November 1. The second leg of the tour commences in Dallas on November 15 and closes in the band's hometown of Seattle on December 6.
