Trailer Park Boys Coming to the State Theatre, 12/7

The Trailer Park Boys continue to redefine the meaning of 'holiday' with the Minneapolis return engagement of their “Dear Santa Claus, Go F#CK Yourself” Tour featuring Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, Randy and Mr. Lahey. The mockumentary style live comedy show, based upon the exploits of a group of oddball residents living in the Sunnyvale trailer park in Nova Scotia, launched a hit Canadian television series. The Trailer Park Boys perform at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at Hennepin Theatre Trust's State Theatre, 805 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, 55402. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, Sept. 12. Vocalist Cyrille Aimée Performs at Cultural Trust Gala Tonight

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is pleased to announce the award-winning, internationally recognized jazz vocalist and recording artist Cyrille Aimee will be the featured performer during the Cultural Trust's Gala tonight, September 6, 2014, performance being held at the O'Reilly Theater located in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.

Sara Watkins to Play Smothers Theatre, 10/11

Singer-songwriter and fiddler Sara Watkins, known for her work in the Grammy-winning band Nickel Creek and as a frequent guest on A Prairie Home Companion, brings her signature sound to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 11.

BWW Reviews: THE LAST CONFESSION - An Acting Masterclass

Watching distinguished, seasoned veterans onstage in Jonathan Church's play The Last Confession was a privilege. Opening in Melbourne last night, in the final leg of an international tour, The Last Confession centres around the life of Albino Luciani, (played with sincerity and compassion by Richard O'Callaghan), his election as Pope John Paul I and ultimately his death a mere 33 days later. It is an intriguing event not only for the Catholic Church but also in the history of the world with the Church refusing to investigate the potential of foul play from the conservative enclave of the Vatican.

Cirque du Soleil to Present DRALION at JPJ Arena, 10/22-26

After 15 years performing around the world, Dralion will make its finale curtain call in January 2015. From October 22-26, 2014, Charlottesville will have its final opportunity to experience this unique and colorful Cirque du Soleil signature production that has performed in more than 150 cities. Dralion will be presented at the John Paul Jones Arena for six performances only.

Photographer Mark Kiryluk Opens Debut Exhibit, THROUGH MY EYES, THROUGH THE YEARS, Today

In his debut exhibit, photographer Mark Kiryluk will be presenting a panoramic collection of his photography taken during his 40-year career. The exhibit, 'Through My Eyes, Through The Years,' will be held at ABC Custom Framing located in Denver's University Hills Shopping Center tonight, August 22, 5-10 pm, and is free and open to the public. A wine reception with Mr. Kiryluk will open the evening festivities.

WHAT WOULD MRS. WEBB DO? On View Beginning 9/23 at MAD

Featuring a range of objects created over the past 60 years, the exhibition What Would Mrs. Webb Do? A Founder's Vision celebrates Aileen Osborn Webb, who established the Museum of Arts and Design, then the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, in 1956. On view from September 23, 2014, through February 8, 2015, the exhibition explores how Webb, through her advocacy work at MAD and other leading institutions across the country and internationally, championed the skilled maker as integral to America's future.

THE LAST CONFESSION, Starring David Suchet, Kicks Off Australian Tour Today

Internationally acclaimed British actor David Suchet will reprise his role on stage in the conspiracy thriller, 'THE LAST CONFESSION', in Australia in 2014. The international production will play in Toronto and Los Angeles before arriving in Australia in August. Seasons in Perth and Brisbane were announced late last year and now dates have been confirmed for seasons at Adelaide's Her Majesty's Theatre from August 27 and Melbourne's Comedy Theatre from September 3. Tickets on sale from Friday February 7.
