Eileen Atkins, who has mostly recovered from a bad case of the flu, will join Ron Eldard, Jena Malone and Adriane Lenox in tonight's January 17th performance of Doubt

Announced earlier to join Doubt tonight, Eileen Atkins will not be performing due to the flu

Originally scheduled to debut on Tuesday, January 10th Eileen Atkins will join the show tonight. Ron Eldard, and Jena Malone are expected to follow suit shortly.

Off-Broadway¹s Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Executive Producer - Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director ­ Elliot Fox, Managing Director) and Bloomingdale¹s have formed a corporate partnership in celebration of the New York Premiere of Charles Grodin¹s new play, The Right Kind of People, which begins performances at Primary Stages, the resident company at 59E59 Theaters, Tuesday, January 24, 2006, and is slated to run until Sunday, March 5, 2006.

Elaine Stritch and Brian Stokes Mitchell will perform at the 2006 Nightlife Awards on February 6th, while other celebrities such as Michael Cerveris, Karen Ziemba, Marin Mazzie and William Finn will also appear

The cast will feature (in alphabetical order): Chris Bauer (Chaplin White), Stephen Lang (Colonel Littlefield), Trevor Long (Gunney), Margaret Colin (Margaret Littlefield), Jeremy Strong (Private Evan Davis), and Chris Chalk (Captain Lee King).

LAByrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz and Executive Director Steve Asher) presents the second developmental production of the 2005-06 season, ALL THE BAD THINGS by Cusi Cram, directed by Paula Pizzi. ALL THE BAD THINGS will begin performances on Wednesday, February 15th at the Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street) for 15 performances only through Sunday, March 5th.

DOUBT has broken the house record at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the eighth time, grossing $603,566 for nine performances for the week of December 26-January 1. DOUBT had previously set a record of $550,109 for the week of July 11-17, 2005.

Martin Platt, Co-director of the Perry Street Theatre Company, has been tapped to direct the European Premiere of John Patrick Shanley's Tony Award Winning Drama, DOUBT to begin performances at Vienna's English Theatre at January 30 - March 11, 2006.

DOUBT celebrated its 300th performance on Broadway this past weekend, with the evening performance on Saturday, December 17. DOUBT began performances on March 9, 2005 and opened on March 31, 2005 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).

Stephen Lang has been cast in John Patrick Shanley's play Defiance, which will be presented by MTC, directed by Doug Hughes and will open on February 28th

Opening tonight, Monday, December 12th at 8:00 pm is the Alchemy Theatre Company of Manhattan, Inc. production of the New York premiere of 'Haymarket' by Zayd Dohrn, Off Broadway at The Beckett Theatre (Theatre Row), 410 West 42nd Street. Directed by Robert Saxner with set design by Heidi Meisenhelder; costumes by Victoria Tzykun; lighting by Stephen Sakowski and sound by Haddon Kime. The cast includes Morgan Baker, Birgit Huppuch, Judson Jones, Dennis McNitt, Squeaky Moore and D. Zhonzinsky. Previews began December 9th. (2 hour 5 min including intermission)
