?THE PIECE PROJECT and VS. THEATRE COMPANY present an exclusive Los Angeles reading of Steve Yockey's THE THRUSH AND THE WOODPECKER on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 8pm.  Founded by Devon Gummersall and Andrew Carlberg, THE PIECE PROJECT is a celebrity-based theater ensemble.  Every two-three months, The Piece Project hosts a play reading to benefit a local Los Angeles theater company.  Devon Gummersall will direct this reading of THE THRUSH AND THE WOODPECKER, whose cast includes Daniel Sharman, Brenda Strong and Kate Walsh.

International City Theatre has announced a season of five critically acclaimed plays by six multiple award-winning writers for 2016. The company's 31st season launches on Feb. 12 at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, has announced casting for the 10-minute plays for the 5th Annual 10X10 New Play Festival, with performances at BSC's St. Germain Stage (36 Linden Street)  February 11 through February 28, as part of the 2016 10X10 Upstreet Arts Festival.

San Diego Repertory Theatre presents OUTSIDE MULLINGAR by John Patrick Shanley, the fourth production of its 40th Anniversary Season. REP Associate Artistic Director Todd Salovey directs his first production of the season, tackling Pulitzer, Tony and Oscar-winner Shanley's not-so-average romantic comedy set in Ireland.
