A new production of The Exorcist, directed by Sean Mathias, will receive its UK premiere at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from Friday 21 October - Saturday 5 November 2016. The cast features Jenny Seagrove in the role of Chris, Peter Bowles as Father Merrin and Adam Garcia as Damien.

In response to popular demand, The Pearl Theatre Company extends Shelagh Delaney's A Taste of Honey to October 30. Directed by Austin Pendleton, this production marks the play's first New York revival in 35 years.

Mint Theater Company has announced that the acclaimed revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, will now continue through October 23rd at their new home at the Beckett Theater as a resident company at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues).

NORMAN TWAIN, 85, a prominent theatrical producer in New York and California in the 1960's and 1970's who later became a successful and award-winning film producer, died Saturday morning, August 6th, after a brief illness.

Rehearsal images are released today for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's THE ENTERTAINER, the final production in the year-long Plays at the Garrick season. The production will play at the Garrick from 20 August until 12 November, with press night on 30 August. Gawn Grainger has joined the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company production of The Entertainer, which began rehearsals this week. Gawn is playing Billy Rice and replaces John Hurt who, on the advice of his doctors, recently had to withdraw from the production.

Today, the UK's finest multi-arts festival Latitude is delighted to announce the Literary Arena, Wellcome Trust Hub, and further Poetry names performing at this year's event, which takes place from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July 2016 in the stunning grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk.
