Stage773 Artistic Director Brian Posen unveiled plans for a massive renovation to the 33-year old and newly renamed Stage773 building, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., at Stage773's Sunday, October 10 "10-10-10" benefit celebrating the May acquisition of the building and the upcoming 10th year of the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival (January 6-16).

Yesterday, June 13, Toy Story 3 had it's world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
In May 1977 three artists--Robin Hirsch, a writer and director; Charles McKenna, an actor; and Raphaela Pivetta, a visual artist--stumbled across a tiny storefront on Cornelia Street in the heart of Greenwich Village and thought it the perfect place to open a café.
The Cornelia Street Cafe has released it's lineup for the week of May 10 - May 17. Performers will include the Amanda Monaco Quartet, the Tony Malaby Cello Quartet, and the James Weidman Three World's Quintet.
