The producers of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical have announced the cancelleation of the Monday, March 30th performance of the show 'to allow the company a day of rest in the midst of a long string of consecutive performances.'

In anticipation for letting the 'sun shine in' on Broadway, the sexy cast of HAIR let it all hang out for the newest issue of Time Out New York magazine, the talented crew let the flesh fly.

Situation Interactive announced the launch of its HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical web initiative in support of the Broadway musical. The online experience utilizes all that's exciting and fun about web 2.0 technology (something we here BroadwayWorld.com know an awful lot about!), allowing Broadway fans intimate access to the show's cast, video streams, blogging and the ability to become part of the ?tribe' (an online community for polling and sharing).

The New York Times is reporting that HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical which played this summer to sold out houses at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park will play Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theater (currently home to A TALE OF TWO CITIES). In honor of WorkShop Theater Company's 15th Anniversary Season, Tony Award winner Bill Irwin, members of both the Original and Broadway-Bound casts of HAIR - including two-time Tony Award nominee André de Shields and Heather MacRae, - along with New York's finest new vaudeville and burlesque acts and WorkShop Company artists, performed live to benefit WorkShop Theater on Monday, October 27, 7:00 PM at the Zipper Factory.

On Monday, October 13th, some of Broadway's best dancers and performers joined together for KICKIN' IT: Broadway Gives Back at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (405 W 55th St @ 9th Ave). The concert was in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness. BWW was there to capture the emotional evening of song and dance for a truly worthy cause.
