Betty White has won the title of AP's Entertainer of the Year. The 88-year-old actress, currently starring in the sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland', received more votes than Fox's popular TV show GLEE, Conan O'Brien, and the iPad. More than 100 ballots from news organizations decided who would snag the title. 'It's been phenomenal, but everybody keeps congratulating me on my resurgence and my big comeback,' White says of her recent success. 'I haven't been away, guys. I've been working steadily for the last 63 years.'

TV Land announced today that production on the network's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland' starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White will begin on Monday, May 10. The 10 episode series premieres June 16 at 10pm on TV Land. The sitcom is TV Land's first foray into scripted comedy series and is a TV Land PRIME presentation. 'Hot in Cleveland' is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ('Frasier,' 'Ellen') serving as executive producer, show runner and writer.

TV Land announced today that it has signed Emmy(R) Award-winning and audience-adored actress Betty White to star in the highly-anticipated TV Land PRIME Original sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland' scheduled to premiere in June. Betty White will take on the role of the snarky but lovable Elka Ostrovsky, property caretaker of the home that co-stars - Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick - rent after their plane makes an emergency landing in Cleveland and they decide to stay.
