Contra Costa Civic Theatre has announced that CHICAGO will take to the stage on September 16th.

In a special limited engagement, Signature Theatre is presenting the Washington D.C. premiere of E. Patrick Johnson's one-man show, Sweet Tea: Black Gay Men of the South.

This fall, Kara DioGuardi, Grammy nominated songwriter and star of 'American Idol' and Bravo's 'Platinum Hit', will make her Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO for an eight-week limited engagement, Monday, September 5 through Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Ambassador Theatre. Television and recording artist-turned-stage actress, Nikki Gil (Charity Hope Valentine) and newbie theater actor, Kris Lawrence (Oscar Lindquist), lead 9 Works Theatrical's (Rent, The Wedding Singer) production of the classic Broadway musical comedy, Sweet Charity, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
