Our New York summer will get started with a humid blast of music and rhythm from master Southern storyteller Minton Sparks, appearing for her first sitdown New York City run fresh from being awarded the 2011 Spoken Word Award by The Fellowship of Southern Writers. This was the first Spoken Word Award given in the 22-year history of The Fellowship.
Arrive at or close to the start time as actors will be grouped to read scenes from the script. The theatre will be open 15 minutes prior to auditions to allow time to fill out paperwork. Please be familiar with the script, which is readily available online. Auditions are open to everyone.

Hickory Street in downtown Denton. Callbacks will be held July 14, if needed. The Denton Community Theatre production is directed by Michael Bolen. Auditions are open - no appointments and will consist of Cold Readings from the script and Improvisation. The style is that of Comedy of Manners and the setting is London and its suburbs in 1895. An upper class British dialect will be required of the actors. Head shots and resumes are helpful, but not necessary.
