The Jericho House will present Katrina, a promenade production composed entirely of accounts provided by both survivors and those responsible for the failed relief effort following the hurricane which destroyed the city of New Orleans in 2005. Written and directed by Jonathan Holmes, Katrina will be performed by Andrew Dennis, Andrea Harris, Stephanie Langton, Wunmi Mosaku, Joe Speare and Orlando Wells. The newly composed score and immersive sound design, featuring indigenous New Orleans music, is by Peter Readman and Peter Nash.

Broadway favorite Nick Adams is set to make his solo cabaret debut at Birdland on August 17th at 7pm. Adams was last seen on Broadway as 'Liver Lips Louie' in the recent revival of GUYS & DOLLS.

This spring, John Wilson's searing play about a young Private's desertion from the trenches during World War One begins its journey at Plymouth Theatre Royal on Wednesday 25 February before visiting Cheltenham, Coventry, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Belfast. Baltimore's newest gang of artists, Nine Imaginary Cows Theater Collective, presents a brand-spanking-new work for the stage: There Have Been Other Men in My Wife's Bed (A Marital Arrangement for 3 Actors), running February 26 through March 7 at Theatre Project (45 West Preston Street, Baltimore). 'Aristides - the Outcast Hero' tells the little know story of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, the Portuguese consul in Bordeaux in 1940, who disobeyed his fascist government and issued some 30,000 visas to refugees fleeing Nazi persecution. By cleverly exploiting treaties between Portugal and Spain, Aristides de Sousa Mendes forced open an escape route out of occupied France, through Spain and into neutral Portugal. This was to be used by some 1 million people during WWII.

Nick Adams returned to his hometown, Erie, PA, this week to perform as a special guest with the Erie Philharmonic. The annual holiday pops concert is performed a the Warner Theatre and this year's concert on Saturday, December 13th is called 'Come Home for the Holidays'.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Quentin Crisp (immortalised on TV by John Hurt in 'The Naked Civil Servant'), Bette Bourne returns to the London stage with his acclaimed, multi award-winning performance in Tim Fountain's 'Resident Alien'. A 10-week season opens at the New End Theatre, Hampstead, on Wednesday 28 January and will run to Sunday April 5.
