Bare plays its final performance tonight, February 3rd, 2013, after 21 previews and 65 regular performances. Bare began previews off-Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Monday, November 19, 2012 and opened on Sunday, December 9, 2012. BroadwayWorld takes you back through BARE's beginnings off-Broadway below!

Bare begins its final weekend of performances, playing its final performance on Sunday, February 3rd at 7:30pm after 21 previews and 65 regular performances. The original 2004 cast, including John Hill, Natalie Joy Johnson, Adam Fleming, and Jenna Leigh Green reunited at the show and took pictures backstage with the current cast. Check them out below!

Erin Markey has announced a return to Joe's Pub. Known for her dark wit and absurdist transformations, Markey has been likened to Kristen Wiig, Kathy Acker and Eileen Brennan. Erin weaves together an exciting bill of R&B, 90's pop and grunge, standards and original music under the direction of Ben Rimalower (Leslie Kritzer is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches) with musical direction by Tony-nominated Kenny Mellman (Kiki and Herb).

BEN RIMALOWER: "PATTI ISSUES" has announced a fifth extension. The show will now run through April 24 at The Duplex in the West Village.

Annapurna Pictures and Color Force have secured the feature film rights to Maria Semple's critically acclaimed, bestselling novel WHERE'D YOU GO, BERNADETTE it was announced today by Color Force's Nina Jacobson.

This production will begin performances on March 19 and open on April 7 2013 at the Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street); this will be the first Broadway staging of the play. Frederick Zollo and Robert Cole are the producers.

Ben Rimalower's PATTI ISSUES, written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark extends yet again at The Duplex through the end of the year-until February 28th, 2012!

PERFECT CRIME, NYC's longest running play, will have a performance tonight at 8 PM and tomorrow at 2 PM. Despite Hurricane Sandy's destruction in New York and beyond, producer's of Perfect Crime have decided to run the show tonight and continue their legacy. The play, a romantic thriller, often compared to Agatha Christie's Mousetrap, has run for 25 years in New York and will not let a hurricane stop their record-breaking run.

When Ben Rimalower was eight years old, his father came out of the closet and embarked on a drug-fueled tear that left his family in tatters. Amid the chaos of his young life, Ben found comfort-like so many gay boys before him and after-in musical theater, and specifically in the transportive voice of Broadway star Patti LuPone. Rob Sedgwick, accomplished New York actor, will join the cast of Warren Manzi's Perfect Crime, the longest running play in the history of New York theater, as Lionel McAuley, the deranged patient of physiatrist Margaret Brent. Sedgwick will perform a special limited run beginning Oct. 15 and running through Oct. 20.
