Bafta winning actor Tom Hollander is to join thrilling new drama Baptiste written by Harry and Jack Williams.

Whimsical, poignant, and romantic, The Fantasticks is an allegorical story that focuses on two young lovers, their meddling fathers, and the journey we all must take through adolescent thrills, the growing pains of hurt and betrayal, the highs of passion, the challenges of distance, and the agonies of heartbreak to discover how to truly love.  With music by Harvey Schmidt and Lyrics by Tom Jones, it is directed by Larry Williams with musical direction by David Shepard.  NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that bare, the movie is in the works from Tony nominated producers Hillary Butorac Weaver and Janet Billig Rich and Tony nominated director Kristin Hanggi at the helm. Hanggi was the original director of the musical and adapted the screenplay for the film.

Novato Theater Company continues its 2017-208 season with Chicago, Broadway's longest-running American musical, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, the musical is based on a 1926 play about actual criminals and their crimes. The story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the 'celebrity criminal'. Chicago includes memorable songs like 'All that Jazz,' 'When You're Good to Mama,' and 'All I Care About is Love.'

The Richmond County Orchestra (RCO), under the direction of Maestro Alan Aurelia, presents: AMERICANA, a musical star-spangled tribute to the United States that includes a full orchestral patriotic favorites such as the Star Spangled Banner, Stars and Stripes Forever and 1812 Overture sprinkled with dancing by members of the New American Youth Ballet choreographed by Elizabeth Flores. Performers include Nezad Marsic, Alison Madill and John Griffen.

Novato Theater Company opens 2017 with Sir Peter Shaffer's award-winning comedy, Lettice and Lovage.  The author of Equus and Amadeus plunges into droll comedy about two women who could not be more opposite.  The play is directed by Renee Mandel-Sher and produced by Mark Clark.  It runs February 3-19 at the NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (a comedy with music), opens October 21 and runs until November 12 at the Belrose Theater with performances on Friday and Saturdays at 8pm and matinees most Saturdays at 2pm. The iconic pop opera BARE's original 'Jason' -- John Griffin -- is all grown up and starring opposite Nell Teare (original cast of Memphis) in EVE AND STEVE, a hilarious new web series that explores the dynamic between Eve (Teare) and her gay bestie Steve (Griffin). 

In The Wings Productions, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tanya Glassman and Executive Producer Adam Glassman, presents the song and dance extravaganza 42ND STREET, with performances from April 8-17 at the historic Snug Harbor Music Hall.

FX Design Group has designed and built a new news set for WHIO, the #1 CBS affiliate in the country. WHIO, the market leader in Dayton, debuted the new set to enhance storytelling, breaking news, and showcase the anchor team with utmost versatility.
