BWW Reviews: Texas Repertory Theatre Invites a Grand Ole' Time with PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES

This summer the Texas Repertory Theatre Company serves up a slice of apple pie and southern charm with PUMP BOYS AND THE DINETTES. Prior to the show, I wasn't really sure what to expect. It certainly sounded like something that had country charm splattered all over it. Turns out, I wasn't too far off. Being born and bred in Texas along with an affinity for diners this was a great treat.

The Mainstage kicks off with the foot-stomping musical Pump Boys and Dinettes, the humorous and inspirational drama Becoming Dr. Ruth, and the thought-provoking Taking Shakespeare. Florida Studio Theatre to Present PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, 6/4-29

Florida Studio Theatre announces the opening of the first show in the Summer Mainstage Season Pump Boys and Dinettes, book, lyrics, and music by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel, and Jim Wann. The show will open in the Gompertz Theatre June 4 and run through June 29, 2014. Subscriptions to see all three shows of the season can be purchased for as little as $39.
