June Model Launcher Winner Brandi Nicole Walks the Runway on Season 10 of Project Runway

Brandi Nicole, the June winner of an innovative amateur modeling website ModelLauncher.com, (http://modellauncher.com/), officially walked within her first New York City Mercedes Benz Fashion week runway show on September 7th 2012 at Lincoln Center. Placement within the show was a result of Brandi being cast as a feature model within Project Runway's season 10 which is yet to air. Brandi Nicole's modeling career hit a high note when she was announced as the official June Model Launcher winner where she was asked to submit her non-professional photo in a t-shirt and shorts via ModelLauncher.com. After competing against hundreds of other young women ages 21-25, Brandi Nicolewon a paid trip to Miami for her and a guest, a stay at the W Hotel South Beach, a Professional photo shoot with photographer John Fisher, and publicity support by Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR (BPMPR). ModelLauncher.com is powered by public votes for models with the end goal of fairly and effectively launching new models into stardom and providing them full career kick off support. The Pasadena Playhouse has announced that full casting is complete for the west coast premiere of the new musical TWIST - An American Musical by William F. Brown and Tina Tippit (book), Tena Clark (lyrics and music) and Gary Prim (music). Golden Globe and multi-Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen directs a cast of 31 performers led by Tamyra Gray ('American Idol,' Rent and Bombay Dreams) and Cleavant Derricks (Tony Award-winner, Dreamgirls). The five-week limited engagement performs June 14 - July 17, 2011 with the official press opening on June 26, 2011 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

On September 1, 2010 The Alliance Theatre opened Twist for its Atlanta debut. Inspired by Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, and in the rich musical tradition of Jelly's Last Jam, this heart-warming musical brings award-winning director/choreographer Debbie Allen (Fame) back to the Alliance, following her hugely successful Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (winner of the 2010 Olivier Award for Best Revival).
