The new Broadway opening of Xanadu - the musical adaptation of the cult film favorite - has been announced. The musical will now open on Tuesday, July 10th.

Due to a foot injury that Xanadu star James Carpinello sustained during a rehearsal on Tuesday, the opening night of the cult classic's Broadway musical adaptation has been postponed

James Carpinello, currently starring as Sonny in Xanadu injured his foot on Tuesday and will be out of the show until further notice confirmed a production source.
