Christoph Eschenbach Conducts NY Philharmonic with Baibe Skride Tonight

Christoph Eschenbach returns to the New York Philharmonic to conduct a program of works by Eastern European composers with folk influences: Bartok's Violin Concerto No. 2, featuring violinist Baiba Skride in her Philharmonic debut and first New York City orchestral appearance, and Dvorak's Carnival Overture and Symphony No. 8, tonight, February 25, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 27 at 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m.

New York Pops to Perform THE MUSIC OF JOHN WILLIAMS: FROM SPIELBERG TO STAR WARS, 4/8

On April 8, 2016, at 8:00PM, The New York Pops will take center stage at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage in The Music of John Williams: From Spielberg to Star Wars. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke will lead the orchestra in a celebration of the work of legendary film composer John Williams, with a strong focus on his collaborations with Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. The orchestra will breathe life into some of cinema's most iconic scores, including selections from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park. The concert will also include a look at Williams' seminal scoring of the Star Wars films, from their beginnings in the 1970s to today's  The Force Awakens.

Austin Pendleton to Direct LUNA GALE at Cleveland Play House

Cleveland Play House's (CPH) monumental 100th Season continues with the regional premiere of LUNA GALE. CPH welcomes back film and stage legend Austin Pendleton to direct this contemporary drama that begs the question 'To whom do you belong?' Written by Rebecca Gilman, recipient of the 2015 Roe Green Award, LUNA GALE runs February 27 - March 20 in the intimate Allen Theatre.

The Kennedy Center's 2015-2016 World Stages series continues with three trailblazing, multidisciplinary works that are coming to Washington, D.C.: Laurie Anderson's Language of the Future: Letters to Jack (March 4-6); Monica Bill Barnes's Happy Hour (March 10-11); and Van-Ánh Võ's The Odyssey: From Vietnam to America (March 11-12). Berkeley Symphony Performs Beethoven's 'Emperor' With Soloist Conrad Tao Tonight

Music Director Joana Carneiro, Berkeley Symphony and composer and pianist Conrad Tao perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, 'Emperor,' together tonight, February 4 at 8 pm at Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley. Jack Willis to Lead Arena Stage's ALL THE WAY

Robert Schenkkan's Tony Award-winning drama All the Way, about President Lyndon Baines Johnson's impassioned struggle to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, makes its Washington, D.C. debut at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.
