The New York Choral Society (NYCS) will perform in a special remembrance concert in honor ofthe September 11 th tragedy. Sponsored by the September Concert Foundation, NYCS will be featured along withthe Cathedral Choir at the magnificent St. Patrick's Cathedral on September 11 th at 7pm.

The New York Choral Society closes its 51st season with a performance of Mozart's Requiem, Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, and James DeMars' Tito's Say, on May 1, 2010 at Carnegie Hall, 8:00 PM. The esteemed chorus performs with the Brooklyn Philharmonic under the baton of NYCS Music Director John Daly Goodwin, alongside soloists Joyce El Khoury, soprano, Elizabeth Batton, mezzo-soprano, Michele Angelini, tenor, and Daniel Mobbs, bass-baritone.

The New York Choral Society presents "Vive la France" on February 28 at St. Bartholomew's Church at 2:00PM. This program of lush choral music - conducted under the baton of Music Director John Daly Goodwin - will warm and comfort the senses, as it comprises works by two of France's most important composers of the twentieth century, Francis Poulenc's Quatre Petites Prieres de Saint Francois d'Assise and Litanies a la Vierge Noire and Maurice Durufle's Requiem.
