The Fifty/50 Presents 'The Cheetah Woods' 4/8-11

Wicker Park sports bar and comfort food restaurant The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St) has a new specialty cocktail highlighting its spring drink menu dubbed "The Cheetah Woods" that's inspired by golfer and tabloid fodder Tiger Woods.

Woods announced on Tuesday, March 16 he'll return from his self-imposed exile from golf at The Masters in April, so The Fifty/50 came up with the perfect drink in "The Cheetah Woods" so everyone can quench their thirst with a little bit of Tiger aka Cheetah.

A riff on the traditional John Daly cocktail, "The Cheetah Woods" is comprised of Absolut Apeach vodka, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and China Mist Iced Tea. Like all of its spring specialty cocktails, "The Cheetah Woods" is served in The Fifty/50's signature 24oz plastic red "keeper" cups that are a staple during warm weather months on its 65-seat outdoor patio. "The Cheetah Woods" costs $10.

During The Masters (Thursday, April 8 thru Sunday, April 11), "The Cheetah Woods" will be on special for the price of a "snowman" (which is 8 strokes on a golf hole) for $8 at The Fifty/50.
