At its core Doom Flamingo is a synthwave dance party with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde element to the songwriting. Top Gun guitar riffs and Miami Beach poolside lounge-vibes, are all at once contrasted with darksynth sounds eerily reminiscent of old John Carpenter films. The cast of talented musicians in this project came together organically through friendships and past collaborations in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. The sextet features bassist Ryan Stasik of the prolific rock group Umphrey's McGee alongside a cast of powerhouse musicians.

Singer, actor, and Broadway star Sheena Easton performs hits from her extensive 40-year musical career at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Saturday, January 19 at 8 p.m.

The infamous killer Michael Myers strikes again inHalloween, arriving on Digital and via the digital movie app MOVIES ANYWHERE on December 28, 2018, as well as on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rayTM, DVD and On Demand on January 15, 2019. Following the announcement of their Opening Night Film, Yen Tan's award-winning AIDS drama 1985, NewFest today announced the full lineup of their 30th annual celebration of the year's best LGBT films from around the world. The production is intended to convince Americans to liberate themselves from our two party political system.
