After nearly a decade since the last UK tour sold out within days, Cameron Mackintosh is delighted to announce that his acclaimed Broadway production of Boublil and Schonberg's musical 'LES MISERABLES' will open at Curve Leicester for a season from Saturday 3 - Saturday 24 November 2018 (press night 14 November 2018 ), before playing the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Dublin (5 December 2018 - 12 January 2019), Festival Theatre Edinburgh (22 January - 16 February 2019) and Manchester Palace Theatre (19 February - 30 March 2019). This feeling must have come towards the beginning of the show, as I do not remember one second where the momentum of the production loosened its grip on the throats of the audience as it catapulted into its glorious finale. It is this energy, intimate staging, and top notch performances that make this production of Hedwig and The Angry Inch the most rockin' production Des Moines has seen in years.

ArtsWest has announced an addition to the 2017-18 I Am Season - Hedwig and the Angry Inch (by John Cameron Mitchell) and Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill (by Lanie Robertson), presented together in rotating repertory under the title Practical Questions of Wholeness from June 7 through July 8, 2018. This paired production will replace the previously announced Kiss of the Spider Woman as the final work in ArtsWest's 2017-18 I Am Season.
