Arizona Theatre Company has added two additional performances to the world premiere production of Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland's Five Presidents.
Broadway and television veterans John Bolger, Mark Jacoby, Kenneth Kimmins, Steve Sheridan and Brit Whittle, along with Rep Associate Artist Reese Madigan, make up the cast of Five Presidents, the world premiere production from Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland (House of Cards, The West Wing, Mad Men, and Six Feet Under). Directed by Milwaukee Rep Artistic Director Mark Clements, the production is set to begin performances at the Quadracci Powerhouse on March 10, 2015. Opening night is Friday, March 13, 2015 and runs through April 5, 2015.

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have completed casting for the 41-year-old Playhouse's 2014-15 Season Opener, Outside Mullingar. John Patrick Shanley's (Moonstruck, Doubt) recent Broadway hit, a nominee for the Tony Award for Best Play, will trod the boards in New Brunswick beginning October 7. Joining Ellen McLaughlin in the cast will be John Bolger, Patricia Conolly and David Schramm. Mr. Saint will helm the production, which runs through November 2. Opening night is set for Friday, October 10.
In a new collaboration with Washington, D.C.'s Folger Theatre, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Music Director Marin Alsop bring together an all-star cast of stage, film and television for Director Edward Berkeley's adaptation of the William Shakespeare comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Daily Variety is reporting that the international stage hit Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage could be making itself a home on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre after current resident Hairspray takes its final bow. While no official plans have been confirmed, inside word is that 'Dancing' looks to be eyeing the space for it's Rialto bow. There is no word on an exact date for a Broadway opening, but insiders predict a Fall 2009 start for the film to stage tuner.
