CSI's William Petersen Boards WGN America's MANHATTAN

WGN America announced today that William Petersen ('CSI: Crime Scene Investigation') has joined the cast of its critically acclaimed drama 'Manhattan,' marking his return to television after his celebrated Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated 10-year run as Dr. Gilbert 'Gil' Grissom in the hit series 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.' Produced by Lionsgate Television, Skydance Television and Tribune Studios, 'Manhattan' will begin production on its second season in New Mexico in April for a 2015 debut on WGN America.

WGN America's MANHATTAN Wins SXSW Jury Award for Excellence in Title Design

WGN America's critically acclaimed drama 'Manhattan' won the 2015 SXSW Jury Award for Excellence in Title Design, besting 22 other film and television finalists, including 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (Marvel Studios), 'American Horror Story 4: Freakshow' (FX), 'Godzilla' (Warner Bros.), '22 Jump Street' (Columbia Pictures) and 'The Leftovers' (HBO). Roundabout Theatre Company presented its annual 2015 Spring Gala 'There is Nothing Like a Dame' last night, March 2, 2015 in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria (301 Park Avenue, NYC). The evening was a celebration of Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Helen Mirren, who was presented with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre. The tribute featured appearances by Jennifer Garner & Alessandro Nivola and performances by Laura Benanti,Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Santino Fontana, Victor Garber, Donna Murphy, Kelli O'Hara, Alessandro Nivola,Laura Osnes and Betsy Wolfe.

Martin Short, Katie Finneran & More Set for Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2015 Gala

Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) has announced that the annual WTF Gala will be held at City Winery in New York City (155 Varick Street) on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The evening will feature appearances and performances by Tony and Emmy Award-winner Martin Short, two-time Tony Award-winner and Williamstown veteran Katie Finneran, the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., up-and-coming singer/songwriter Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion), and New York favorite Rebecca Naomi Jones, with more performers and participants to be announced.

TV, Film and Theatre Stars Set for 'STOCKINGS WITH CARE' Bartending Night, 11/17

New York's television, film and theatrical celebrities will take their place behind the bar at the annual 'Stockings with Care Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City on Monday, November 17th at Hudson Station Bar and Grill (440 Ninth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets) from 7pm to 11pm to raise money for the not-for-profit organization. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families live in homeless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

Jim Parsons to Star in NBC's BUDDY'S MUSICAL CHRISTMAS Based on Broadway's ELF!

WGN America's MANHATTAN Hits Over 2.2 Million Total Viewers with L+3

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ WGN America's critically acclaimed drama 'Manhattan' increased its audience in Live + 3 viewing for last Sunday's premiere night, growing to more than 2.2 million Total Viewers (+24%), 796,000 Adults 25-54 (+31%) and 634,000 Adults 18-49 (+38%), for its three-play gross telecasts on WGN America and 14 of Tribune's local stations. The telecast aired in all of Tribune's 33 markets; however, the remaining 19 markets do not receive daily demographic data. WGN America, Tribune's (TRBAA:OTC) flagship entertainment network, covers 61.7% of U.S. households.
