The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, a summer concert series dedicated to bringing world class artists up close and musical to its audiences in the Pocono Mountains, will hold its seventh annual season July 29th through August 7th at various locations in the Pocono region.
The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival has added a collection of star Broadway performers to their opening concert. Broadway and West End veteran Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King, The Who's Tommy), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, Disaster!), Tony Nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu, Disaster!), and Drama Desk nominee Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys) will give an inside look into their journey from the audition room all the way to opening night of the Broadway show that put them on the map. These four performers will be backed by a 16-piece Broadway orchestra.
On November 23, 2015, Sing For Your Seniors hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL for the residents of The Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from BEAUTIFUL. Residents and their family, nurses, and staff enjoyed two one-hour sessions on different floors, as well as a meet-and-greet visit with the cast following the performances.
