It tells the story of a family of stage magicians who find themselves living under the same roof for the first time in years. In this song, Tina, who is the family's maid and maintains their ever-growing collection of artifacts from the history of magic, reveals her larger ambitions. Following sold-out performances at Joe's Pub, 54 Below, and an extended run at Sophie's @ Broadway, Musical Theatre Factory presents the farewell engagement of Shakina Nayfack's ONE WOMAN SHOW, September 2-4 at 8pm. Join Shakina as she recounts the exploits and misadventures that led to her gender transition with new songs and stories added for this final run. Shakina's public approach to gender confirmation is living performance art with a dark, funny, and powerful cabaret edge. After successfully raising over $22,000 through her high-profile KickStartHer campaign, these final performances celebrate her upcoming departure to Thailand to undertake the first internationally crowd-sourced sex change.

The Festival has launched many new works onto TheatreWorks' stages and on to productions nationally, including Broadway's MEMPHIS and off-Broadway's STRIKING 12, EQUIVOCATION, and THE NORTH POOL.

Muse Match, an evening that seeks to answer the question, 'What happens when 15 composers go on a blind date with 15 singers?,' will be presented tonight, June 12th, 2014, at 11:30 PM at 54 Below. Produced by Bill Coyne, the evening will benefit ZARA AINA, a charity that brings theater and education to at-risk youth In Madagascar; founded by actors Bryce Pinkham and Lucas Caleb Rooney.
