The York Theatre Company presents the return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Enter Laughing: The Musical

The York Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for the return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Enter Laughing: The Musical with book by Joseph Stein and music and lyrics by Stan Daniels, based on the play Enter Laughing by Joseph Stein from the novel by Carl Reiner. 

Elton John, whose life will soon be represented on the big screen with Rocketman, will be celebrated in story and song at Feinstein's/54 Below on Wednesday, April 24th 2019, at 7:00pm in a concert directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider.

Alanis Morissette, who will be represented on Broadway next season with Jagged Little Pill, will be celebrated in story and song at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, March 10th, 2019, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm in a concert directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider.

The Nerve Project Theatre, New York's newest and grittiest ensemble theatre company presents an all new adaptation of the epic Charles Dickens masterpiece, Great Expectations. Starring founding company members The Rivals' Joe Veale*, Annie Simpson*, David McCall*, Samuel Floyd*, Dax Dupuy, and Natalie Riegel*, This premiere event will run 3 select Off -Broadway performances at The Hudson Guild Theatre as part of The 2019 NY Winter Festival of Plays. Based on the famously funny farce about Mrs. Malaprop, The Rivals features book and lyrics by two-time Tony nominee Peter Kellogg (Anna Karenina), and music by two-time Richard Rodgers Award-winner Stephen Weiner (The Honeymooners). The production will run from October 30 to November 18, 2018, with opening night set for Thursday, November 1.

With book, music and lyrics written by Kit Goldstein Grant, directedchoreographed by Michael Chase Gosselin and based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson and Lloyd Osbourne, The Wrong Box now celebrates its World Premiere at Theater for the New City as part of its Dream Up Festival. Grant and Gosselin now come together since having worked on Grant's The Nose, and their joint efforts truly show the magic to be found in this collaboration. Grant's plot of wayward characters who winner of the tontine, to wreaking havoc in the baggage area of a train on its way to the middle of nowhere and a random moment of drunkenness, The Wrong Box takes a complex plot and not only tests the audience's sense of humor, but also our ability to follow along. If understood completely, this is one hell of a crazy ride.
