Julia Murney, Jay Armstrong Johnson, and More Sing Elton John at 54 Below
Elton John, whose life will soon be represented on the big screen with Rocketman, will be celebrated in story and song at Feinstein's/54 Below on Wednesday, April 24th 2019, at 7:00pm in a concert directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider.
Scheduled to appear in the concert are Jay Armstrong Johnson (The Phantom of the Opera), Florrie Bagel (Jerry Springer: The Opera), Todd Buonopane (Chicago), LaDonna Burns (Rent), Mary Callanan (Bandstand), Dan DeLuca (Newsies), Bryan Fenkart (Memphis), AJ Holmes (The Book of Mormon), Amy Jo Jackson (Kinky Boots), Julia Murney (Wicked), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), Don Scardino (30 Rock), Talia Suskauer (Be More Chill), and Ryan Vona (Once).
The concert will be hosted by Robbie Rozelle(Songs From Inside My Locker).
Audiences will hear Elton's greatest songs, like "Tiny Dancer," "Candle In The Wind," "Crocodile Rock," and so many more, sung by the legends of Broadway whose lives have been shaped by the music of Elton John.
